The brittleness temperature of nitrile 18 is - 50 ℃; The brittleness temperature of nitrile 40 is - 23 ℃. The most valuable thing of rubber is low-temperature elasticity. Nitrile 18 has good low-temperature elasticity but poor oil resistance. People have been trying to solve this problem, but the effect is not obvious. Nitrile 18 was modified with nylon 66 resin, which not only retained the low temperature performance of nitrile rubber, but also improved its oil resistance.

NBR40 / PA66 alloy has better oil resistance than nitrile 40. It can be used in seals of oil production industrial equipment to improve service life and reliability.
